1. I see text on the screen but it is cut off or it will not scroll, why? |
| All the text on the site is a Frame and will not show up if your browser doesn't support frames. The scrollbars as well have been hidden to decrease the pull from the page, so you must, first, click in the text area, next press page down or if you have a mouse wheel scroll down. You can also scroll the page like any other by pressing where the arrow would normally be inside the frame. This also works with the regular page as well. 2. Where is the information I was looking for. I see the table it should be in but nothing else. |

This particularly happens on pages in which we use JavaScript. We have only a few elements that are JavaScript, this includes all the rollovers, and a majority of the special bullets, which will be explained better later during this question. The special bullets which look like rounded arrows are mostly there for use with our pop-up information. We use this method so as to try not to show you too much information, or information you don't need, at one time and discourage you from our site. So we have put all this type of information in a special bullet that when pressed shows the information. This is a type of JavaScript, and not every browser supports it. 3. I can't seem to find my way around the site and cannot find some of the specific pages I was looking for. |
| All of the pages are located on our own personal search pages. If there is something you cannot find you can just type it into our search field and press go. 4. Why are the bullets that expand the information on all of the pages not working? |
| Well this is quite easily explained. First it could be a problem of our site, the bandwidth, or your browser. We update the site quite frequently so a problem with the site shouldn't be much of a problem. Bandwidth is a crucial element to every web designer and requires money to increase it, we being a non-profit organization have opted for limited bandwidth. Finally comes the problem of your browser. Not all browsers support some of the information on our site so we have included alternative ways of getting the information you require. As for the bullets, those are JavaScript, a special HTML element that adds interactivity to our web sites. There is not much we can do to provide alternatives for that so we have created a page with all the information you may need that is enhanced by JavaScript. 5. Why isn't the search bar working? |
| To cut down on the expense of our site we have used a JavaScript search capability that isn't supported by all browsers. 9. No matter what I type into the search field it always comes back negative! |
| during production we came across this same problem and had to figure out the reason. It took a week or two but we found out that the search bar is case sensitive in that it will not allow you to use upper case letters in a search. All upper case letters are blocked, if you try the word again with lower case letters then you will get the results back you are looking for, unless of course your spelling isn't that great.
